Role: General Administration

 Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage phone and counter enquiries professionally
  • Log service enquiries and maintain accurate work order records
  • Process purchase orders, supplier invoices, and schedule payments
  • Manage inventory and stock records
  • Handle receipting, bank feeds, and petty cash reconciliation
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations
  • Manage credit applications, client statements, and debt collection
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to policy updates
  • Provide administrative support for meetings including minute taking
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Complete other tasks and reporting as directed by management

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Valid provisional or open driver’s licence
  • Experience in Accounts, Customer Service, and Administration
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PC skills
  • Ability to pass a national police check within two weeks of employment

Highly Desirable Qualifications

  • Cert IV in Accounting/Bookkeeping/Business Admin or similar
  • Experience with Xero and Credit Management
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 including SharePoint
  • Ability to work unsupervised and manage time effectively
  • Experience in ICT industry and similar roles
 
 
 

Position Title: Trainee Communications Engineer

Reports To: Service Manager

Location: Rockhampton

Position Overview: The Trainee Communications Engineer will assist in the design, development, and testing of technical solutions under the supervision of a Senior Engineer. This role involves reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, conducting technical and feasibility studies, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations. The trainee will gain hands-on experience and develop skills necessary for a successful career in communications engineering.

Key Responsibilities:iAssist Comms Tech

  • Assist in the design and development of communication systems and solutions.
  • Conduct technical and feasibility studies to evaluate project requirements.
  • Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Support the preparation of project documentation and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including IT and customer service, to ensure project success.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to senior engineers and other team members.
